    08. Enrollment Advice

    2 min read

The EBF Onboarder displays the Enrollment Advice page after completing the Enrollment Wizard(if enabled).

It shows information (username and password hint), any instructions or a link to download the MDM profile or MDM App helping the user to enroll the device into the target MDM/UEM. The page the EBF Onboarder shows by default always depends on the target systems requirements to register a device.

If the default advice does not fulfill your needs, feel free to modify it.
In case you want to reset it again, just clear any content (also spaces) and save.

Follow these steps to open the Enrollment Advice:

    1. Go to the EBF Onboarder dashboard and click on ‘Migration Details’ for the migration project you want to change.
    2. Click on ‘Enrollment Advice’.

If you open it, the page provides you with some information, eg, to only add properly working URLs.

You can enter the required data here and finally press Save
If the project is active and you see a need to change the content, open it again and save it. The next user opening the advice (because of running the migration) will see the new content right away. There is no need to resent an invitation or anything like this.

NOTE: There might be reasons to not display any link or automated information or a text only.

    Examples:
    Special migrations and Desktop migrations.

In this case add the following text to the Enrollment Advice:
    <!---onboarder://->

You can also add HTML formatted text with further information for the user.

Press Save to save the changes.

Currently there is no preview. But if you have a test migration and you reach the enrollment advice page, you can save the change in the EBF Onboarder and then reload the page on the device to see the changes.

The Enrollment Advice is not available for the target MaaS360.
