    Version 3.4.1

    Important Changes:

    • Java Temurin 21 required instead of Temurin 17
    • MIDA configuration file
      • One line needs to be removed from the MIDA Configuration file /etc/sysconfig/mida:
        The steps:

        • vi /etc/sysconfig/mida Enter i Remove the line -Dspring.jpa.database-platform=org.hibernate.dialect.SQLServer2012Dialect \ 
        • Press ESC Save with: :x

    • Temurin Java instead of Java
    • MIDA configuration file
      • This line needs to removed from the /etc/sysconfig/mida file: -Dspring.jpa.database-platform=org.hibernate.dialect.SQLServer2012Dialect \
      • Changes in the hibernate dialect requires this change

    Fixes

    • Issue Editing Web URL
      When editing the URL in a Web App it is only possible to save the change if the URL starts
      with http:// or https://.
    • Device not showing up in Orphan devices
      The report is working fine only for the superadmin.
    • Issue when disabling Defer Software update
      The number of days is still showing up in the restrictions of a device after removing the block
      to update the iOS version using MIDA.
    • Value common.miclient_last_connected_at lost the time information
      The value “common.miclient_last_connected” in the device details was showing the date but
      not the time information.
    • LDAP Synch issue
      In some cases, MIDA was not handling the priority correctly.

    Version 3.2.2

    What’s new

    Enter iOS Version manually to be pushed
    Because of a bug in the Ivanti EPMM, you cannot select iOS Versions newer than 16.5. With MIDA 3.2.2 you can also enter the iOS Version manually, like on the Core.

    Additional information:
    In the device search the following values can be entered to find the devices:

    • os.updatable
    • dep.device
    • dep.enrolled
    • mdm.managed

    Empty dashboard instead of Login
    This started with a bug with an empty dashboard but created two nice improvements:

    When the Session Token expired, MIDA will show you a message:

    If there are several messages with the same content, MIDA stacks the ones with the same content and adds a counter:

    • Issue for one client: errors when retiring devices

      The value for common.cellular_technology was added to “All Device report” and “All Device Quick Report”

      Each client admin can upload their updated DEP-Token
    • App Tunnel status
      Like ActiveSync mida can now also display the status of AppTunnel
    • Device Action: Sign Out
      a user can be signed out of a device using MIDA

    Fixes

    • Devices with installed apps keeps the previous search
      When the report “Devices with installed apps” was started right after the same report, the 2nd showed the values from the previous search
    • Push Profile Issues
      When pushing a profil to a device, mida confirmed the action with a green message but incorrect text
    • Issue with Webclip
      A WebApp created in Mida and downloaded to a device could not be opened
    • Device Registration: no results found
      A LDAP user, for a MIDA login or to create a device registration, could not be found, starting
      with a bug of the EPMM if more than one LDAP server were connected to the EPMM

    • Display Web URL of a WebApp
      The URL configured in a WebApp will be displayed in the Details of the WebApp
    • Edit URL of a WebApp
      URL can now be edited in the Detail of a WebApp
    • Sorting for Audit Log Export
      Audit logs in the Export file are now sorted to show the same as the MIDA UI
    • Show label name in Audit logs when applying a label to an app
      When applying a label to an app, the label name is displayed in the audit logs instead of the label ID
    • Ivanti EPMM 11.x/11.9 Support of new APIs

    Fixes

    • Orphan device Report
      The Orphan devices report failed if there were devices with no label in MIDA DB
      Numbers in UI and export shows different numbers of devices
      Retire in Orphan device report does not work
    • Profiles/Configurations/Policies Tabs content
      The Configuration screen is displayed incorrect information
    • LDAP V2 Sync Issue
      MIDA could not sync users from groups using MIDA LDAP Version 2
    • Cannot edit roles of non ldap users
      A user with a custom created MIDA role cannot edit roles of local users

    Known Bugs

    • Role name admin
      MIDA will not start after the update if you have a role called admin

    Version 3.1.1 / 3.1.2

    March, 1th 2022

    Important Notes

    MIDA 3.1.1 will no longer use the default Java.

    MIDA will start using Temurin Java.

    Means: If you update the MIDA rpm, there will be a dependency request for the Temurin JDK. It is mandatory to install it.

    After the update and BEFORE starting MIDA the first time the default java needs to be switched:

    Enter: sudo alternatives –config java

    Output:

    There are 2 programs which provide 'java'.

    What’s new

    • Improved LDAP support
      With the new update users can also be removed from MIDA after they have been removed from the configured LDAP group
      It is now possible to apply more than one label to a group to allow access to more than one client/label
      It is now possible to import new LDAP Connections from the Ivanti EPMM
    • System and driver updates
      Drivers for the MYSQL/MariaDB and MSSQL database connectors has been updated. This should also reduce Deadlocks
    • Improved ENS Check in
      A ENS Check-in should be processed faster
    • Device Filter by Compliance Reason
      Devices can be filtert by the exact compliance reason
    • Devices scanned per device sync
      A new parameter has been introduced. With this parameter the number of scanned devices in on run can be increased up to 8

    • Do not modify existing app
      With this update MIDA will not modify the MDM settings for an app, if it exists on the MobileIron

    • Find and retire old devices
      A new report was developed to identify these devices in MIDA that have lost the client label and are no longer visible in MIDA
    • Sort labels in Apps and iBooks
    • Limit text and add char counter for text field in notifications
    • iOS Devicename added to Quick Report
    • iOS.iPhone ICCID added to Quick Report
    • Audit logs entry when retiring devices

    • Fixed an issue where MIDA did not show devices
    • An issue was fixed where App Lists could not be opened when logging with Level DEBUG
