    EBF is proud to announce the release of EBF Contacts for iOS and Android version 3.2.0.
    The EBF Contacts app makes it easier to reach colleagues on mobile devices.

    01. What’s new

    The new EBF Contacts app introduces new functionalities:

    • New notification feature: The user will get a system notification when the synchronization interval expires.
    • License expiration date showing up in settings screen
    • New debug logging switch in settings screen
    • Admin can deactivate AppConnect SDK to solve problems with email clients

    02. Fixed issues

    • QR code is now showing again for data sources with O365 when using AD group filter
    • Organizational contacts from O365 are now synced to work profile on Android and CPE on iOS
    • QR code scanned with an Android device now shows umlauts correctly in the imported contact data
    • For CSV data sources images and manager feature are working again
    • Several small fixes

    • NTLM login to Exchange On-Premise server with self signed certificate and/or Extended Protection not possible

    01. What’s new

    The new EBF Contacts app introduces new functionalities:

    • ContactProvider Extension (CPE) makes Contacts available in the native Contacts app on iPhones and iPads with iOS 18. Apple/iOS limitations allow for 5K to 10K items currently for this extension.
    • Start calls via SIRI (using CPE)
    • Identify contacts on iMessage/SMS (using CPE)
    • Search and issue calls in Carplay UI with native Contacts app (using CPE)

    02. Fixed issues

    • Performance problem solved on synchronizing contacts via ZIP with many empty emails
    • Filter icon was not showing up when you use ZIP data source only and have multiple CSV/JSON files in the ZIP
    • Caller list detail screen of iOS showing complete name of the caller again (since iOS 18.4)
    • Problem with AD group filter solved on Android.
    • Several small fixes

    • Fixed a problem with AD group filtered O365 Contacts in combination with Contacts from CSV/JSON file
    • Fixed a problem with exporting the same contact multiple times
    • Fixed a problem with fetching contacts from Exchange On-Premise address list IDs
    • Fixed a problem with jumping to Call Blocking screen in iOS settings
    • Several small fixes

    • Show Teams (presence) status for contacts (O365)
    • Initial O365 data loading can be skipped to enter main screen before sync is finished
    • Filter contacts by data source
    • Merge contact data for duplicates in different data sources
    • Introduced a new flow for filtering contacts by AD groups, which is faster in specific scenarios
    • Support personal/organizational contacts without email addresses
    • Introduced new parameters to better control download timeouts and parallel request handling for Exchange On-Premises data source

    • Fixed a problem where O365 and ZIP data are not showing up together
    • Fixed a problem with contacts on Android showing data in wrong fields
    • Fixed a problem with showing personal contacts
    • Several small fixes

    • On iOS jumping to Caller-ID settings is currently not possible, going to app settings root
